Andrew Beatty
Winner of the prize for Farthest Away, Andrew lives in Dublin, Ireland, where he works as a software engineer. He visits his boat at least annually to ensure creative water displays and "all weather" trips.

David Beatty
The other half of the Beatty Brothers, now famous for their innovative positioning of the water cannons. David works in the technology industry and is one of the driving forces in the restoration of the boat.

John Doswell and Jean Preece
Owners of Doswell Productions and very active in the waterfront community, John and Jean number among their causes North River Historic Ship Society and Friends of Hudson River Park. They keep their ketch Laisser Faire at Pier 63 Maritime, where John also functions as the dock master.

William Drawbridge
Will Drawbridge. One of the original owners, Will did much of the work on her in 1999 when he worked at Pier 63 Maritime. He now works at Columbia University.

Rafe Evans
A brilliant retail real estate broker, Rafe knows little about boats save that John J. Harvey is the best one.

Huntley Gill
Works in real estate & construction, but loves preservation and fireboating.

Sergio Guardia
An award winning architect, Sergio is battling his past in land-locked Bolivia by being an owner of this, his second large boat.

Tim Ivory
Chief Engineer and in charge of restoration. Much said about Tim elsewhere herein.

John Krevey
Owns Pier 63 Maritime, lightship Frying Pan, and originally discovered that John J. Harvey was for sale. If not for John we could spend our weekends golfing.

Florent Morellet
Owner of the well-known eponymous restaurant in nearby Gansevoort Street, Florent is active in many community and health related causes.

Garry Pace
Garry M. Pace is a Deputy Chief with the BWI Airport Fire & Rescue Dept in Baltimore. Garry does all our fire safety training and Firstaid/CPR training.

Marja Samsom
If you have never had the dumplings at her restaurant, Kitchen Club, do. Marja is an enthusiastic supporter of the cause.

Randy Simon
A film producer and classic car dealer in LA, Randy is an avid fire buff and collects fire engines.

Arthur Swanson
Art is a semi-retired engineer/restauranteur who is now building reproduction classic sailing yachts in Maine. The first example... a Hereschoff Araminta ketch will be debuted at the Newport wooden boat in July. His own Alden ketch, the LAISSEZ FAIRE cruised New England waters for 20+ summers.

Eric and Bonnie Weisler
Eric developed this site. Bonnie supports our retail operation and childrens programs. Along with their kids, they sell T-shirts and do restoration projects.

Chase Welles
President of the boat, Chase is well known in commercial real estate circles, and is a life-long boater.
