08:00: FREE PUBLIC TRIP UP THE HUDSON: Depart Pier 66 for Kingston with stops for rail connections back to New York City at Poughkeepsie (MTA) and Rhinecliff (Amtrak).

We will probably arrive Poughkeepsie (where the train is a block away) around 16:00 and Rhinecliff / Kingston around 18:00. Reservations not required. Bring food and drink and glory in this great trip up our river! email trips@fireboat.org if you have any questions, or JUST SHOW UP!

09:30: FREE PUBLIC TRIP from Kingston NY to Yonkers with a brief stop in Poughkeepsie. Catch the 08:45 train from Grand Central and ride south with us! Arriving Yonkers about 17:00 or 18:00.

Noon: JOIN US AT PIER 66 as there is a dedication ceremony for the new US Postal Service stamp which features the image of John J. Harvey

A Second Day Stamp ceremony will recognize the crew of the John J. Harvey fireboat which appears as background on the recently issued New York State Flags of Our Nations stamps series. A specially authorized pictorial postmark will be available after the event to commemorate this historic event.
